How to do paint job on car or bike:
It is difficult to get a beautiful flawless paint job yourself but if you concentrate and do it carefully you can get best results. You can do it yourself at home.There are many things i will discus in this blog about getting a perfect paint job.

1.Making the place ready for use:
First of all you have to make the place ready to do your work.It would be easy if you have workshop or garage,if you don't have prepare a room or you can do it in your backyard.But below open sky you will not get the best results,the will get dirt particles when it is wet.I recommend you to choose the place where the air will not flow or air sealed place,it will give best results and shine of the paint will brilliant.
2.Gather all the things you need:
Gather the things you need in this project.I recommend you to make list of the things and then proceed because it will help you to remember.The things which we are using in this project are mentioned below.
1.Sand paper.
2.Best quality putty ( to fill the cracks or scratches).
3.Car Paint (the color you want).
4.Lacquer.
5.Spray gun.
6.Plastic tape.
7.Paper (to cover the areas that you don't want the paint to stick on it)
And the most important patience and time.
3.Getting started:
If you have a car remove all the seats, dashboard and interior making sure that nothing left inside.And in my opinion i will recommend you to remove all the mechanical parts like engine wheels etc.This will make the work more easier.
4.Water wash:
Before paintjob the car needs a wash to remove all the dirt, mud, grease, and oil from the body.For this task take a bucket and fill it with water.Get a good quality detergent or washing fluid and add some in the water to make solution.Now add some gasoline in the water.The purpose of adding gasoline is to remove all the oils which are not soluble in water.Now take high pressure water hose or you can use the jet car washer which is available in market and spray it on the car and wash it completely from inside to outside.When the car is wet apply the solution which we made in the bucket with cloth and rub it , make sure that you are applying force to rub the cloth.Remove all the rust and oil from the body and let the body to dry in the sun completely for two or three days.
5.Applying putty:
Prepare the putty and apply it on minor cracks and scratches using scraper and let it to dry for four or five hours.The more time you give to it the better results you will get.
6.Sanding:
After applying putty make sure that it is dried.Take sand paper and start rubbing to make the body smooth.
Rub on the places where you applied putty to make it smooth.The sanding process takes about one day to complete.Sand it perfectly until you are satisfied.
7.Cover the windscreen:
Take the paper and tape and start covering the parts you don't need to paint . Use plenty of paper to make sure that the part is covered properly.
8.Spray the primer coat:
Primer coat is the first coat to spray.Make the spray gun ready to spray and start spraying.Move your hand horizontally left to right or right to left and spray the distance between the body and spray gun should be 1ft or 12inches.Spray the primer on the entire body and spray equally and let it to dry.
9.Spray the paint:
After the primer is dried fill the spray gun with the paint and make sure the viscosity of the paint is sprayable.
Now start spraying it just like primer is sprayed. Spray the paint layer by layer and let it to dry properly.

10.Spray Lacquer:
Lacquer is a transparent fluid applied after paint to secure the paint.When this fluid is dried it becomes hard.
Spray the lacquer on the body and let it to dry.Good quality of lacquer leaves glossy finish.
After everything is done fit the interior and engine and the parts.
