Cars with less horsepower and torque are more fuel efficient unlike cars with huge engine blocks and maximum range of torque, these cars are pretty much expensive and not have good fuel efficiency and not any can afford the expense.Cars having small engine are cheaper and almost anyone can afford so its every car owner's wish to have fun with his ride just like me XD but to do this we need more power.

We can simply increase the horsepower by:

1. Decreasing the weight of vehicle.

    

2. Increasing the intake.

    

3. Upgrading the exhaust system.

    

4. Installing forced induction system.

    

   Decreasing the weight of vehicle.

   You can decrease the weight of vehicle by removing extra and unnecessary things from the vehicle.Remove all the things that you won't need.
   Good quality alloy wheels and carbon fiber interior can make the difference, use low profile tyres to reduce drag and weight and to achieve maximum road grip.

   Increasing the intake.

   Lack of intake is one of the main reason of power failure, engine cannot suck air according to its need and the result is low power.Upgrade stock intake air filter to high quality air filter with maximum air flow so the engine will take more air to burn fuel, this will result in increase of the fuel efficiency and lesser co2 emission.

   Upgrading the exhaust system.

    Burnt gasses from the engine are carried through the exhaust pipes and sound of gasses are silenced by adding silencer to the exhaust chamber, silencer decreases the sound of the vehicle but gasses inside are not exhausted freely, the flow of gasses is interfered by the silencer which puts load on the engine to exert the gasses and the engine losses some of its power.Upgrade stock exhaust system to a bigger and better system which allows more gas to pass through it, usually these types of exhaust are very noisy.

   Installing forced induction system.

   The process of forced induction is to forcefully insert more air in engine to burn with fuel, this will make the engine to burn more fuel and air  increasing the horsepower of the engine.For this purpose usually turbochargers and superchargers are used.These devices can lead to high end horsepower of the stock engines.
