Android is a software based package specially developed for mobile devices which includes smartphones, tablets , wear and smart led's , android is an open source operating system based on linux i.e its kernel is comprises of linux.
In October 2003, ANDROID was founded by 'ANDY RUBIN' in Palo Alto, California, United States.
In August 17, 2005, Google acquired Android incorporation inc.
Since then, it is under the subsidiary of Google inc.
After it was taken by Google, they started to develop it, and later it was developed by OHA (Open Handset Alliance).
- LANGUAGES THAT ARE USED FOR ANDROID DEVELOPMENT
Java language is mainly used to develop android apps even though other languages such as c++ and c# can be used.
Other than this XML is also used which provides the structure of your app.
And JAVA provides the functionality of that structure.
